I love creating images that show the relationships between people and nature.  The natural world and our experiences in it are fleeting and ephemeral yet they leave lasting impressions on the self.   In all of my artwork, I hope to inspire reverence and awe for our human interactions in the world.  I am drawn to the drama of light, movement, textures and reflections.  I enjoy creating images that show children and adults interacting in nature and with each other, as well as images that show the small, often unnoticed scenes in nature. In addition to being an artist and naturalist, I am a mother, educator, and Executive Director at In-Sight Photography Project in Brattleboro, Vermont.  After experiencing the healing power of the visual arts as a teen, I am driven ensure youth have equitable access to experience the visual arts.
